Sun Target was purchased by the Mint Museum of Art in Charlotte, North Carolina with matching funds from the National Endowment for the Arts and is exhibited on the campus of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte.   Over the years it has become a landmark and signature for UNCC.   Henry often works in series, reworking an idea at varying scales and configurations.  One of three pieces in the Sun Target series, this sculpture falls into the large scale range with sister pieces both medium scale, Sun Target I, and monumental, Sun Target II.  All three works are closely related but occupy space in very distinct ways.
